COVERAGE OPTIONS

Basic coverage $1200-1500
- recommended for smaller weddings or when the primary purpose of the video is to allow absent family members and friends to share in the celebration. This package is not always available. Good last minute option, especially if your wedding is not on a Saturday.

Extended coverage $1500-$2500
recommended when you require a video memento of the day, often used to complement a more elaborate photo package.

Full Coverage/Large weddings $2500-$3500
The large price range represents the vast array of coverage options available where budgets and priorities allow. A short form (15-20 minute) edit will often be included in the quote where total runtime exceeds 90 minutes or so. All "add-on" items are quoted separately to allow you to tailor coverage to your tastes and budget.

CAMERA STYLE

We strive for a lyrical journalistic approach. Part documentary, part poetry. Very few staged shots, but always an eye for the shot that tells a story. Authentic compelling imagery.
Nothing helps to guarantee the success of a wedding video (and a wedding) as much as planning. We like to visit with you or your coordinator at the ceremony rehearsal and for more elaborate events also at the reception site to review camera and microphone placement, lighting considerations, etc.

The ceremony will typically be captured in its entirety with two or three cameras. Excerpts from the pre or post ceremony photo shoot will often also be included. EDITING STYLE

Our editing style is also very unobtrusive. We aim to create a video that captures the unique beauty and flavor of the day, without obvious artifice. All footage is color graded to ensure rich skintones, vibrant colors, and seamless edits. Audio suite with 5.1 surround sound capability. 5.1 requires a sound recordist at the event.

Effects are used very sparingly. A piece of footage may be slowed down to accentuate the impact of a gesture or pose, a background may be blurred to shift attention to the subject, but always the focus is the event, not the effect.

DELIVERY

Wedding movies will normally be delivered on three authored DVD-Rs within 60-90 days of the wedding.
We can encode highlights for web and ipod at no charge
Raw footage is available on DVD $150 per hour (VHS $50 per hour)

PAYMENT

Payment is one third on booking, one third one week prior to the wedding and one third at completion of edit.
Wedding is booked when payment is received. We accept Mastercard and Visa.
